How to use Screen recorder

Choose whether to record system sound and your microphone.

Select “Start recording”, then pick the screen, window or tab to share. Recording starts after a 3-second countdown.

Select “Stop” (or stop sharing in your browser) and download your video.
Questions and answers
Is my recording uploaded?
No. Your screen is recorded by your browser and the video stays on your device until you download it.
Why is there no sound from my screen?
System sound depends on the browser. In Chrome and Edge, tick “Share audio” when you choose what to share. Firefox and Safari record your microphone only.
Can I record on my iPhone or iPad?
Browsers on iPhone and iPad cannot record the screen. Use Screen Recording in Control Centre instead.
